Guess What?

The author of The Land of Stories just came out with a new book. It is called A Tale of Magic. Chris Colfer says it is one of the hardest books he has ever written. The book came out in October and I have just finished reading it and I hope you will to. I also just want to say that I am sorry for not writing for so long. I have been busy. Now let's get back to the book.

Is the Book related to The Land of Stories?

To this, I would say yes it takes place before the first book, so I guess you could consider it the prequel to The Land of Stories. 

If you have already started the series and are unsure of whether you should go back and read A Tale of Magic I would just finish the series and then read it. If you are just about to start the series then I would start with a Tale of Magic, but obviously, you don't have to.

What is it About?

You have probably been wondering what it is about as soon as I told you about A Tale of Magic. 

As I said before it is a prequel to The Land of Stories, it is about the faerie counsel and how it came to be. He writes about each of the faeries and their backstories. That is all I will say about it so that I don't spoil it for you guys.
