Story
Once upon a time, there was a little girl. The girl always wore a blue dress made by her Auntie Girty which earned her the name Little Blue.
One morning her father asked, “Auntie Girty forgot crown, could you
bring it to her?”
“Of course father,” answered Little Blue.
It was time for Blue to go. Blue’s father had a map, “Now don’t go talking
to strangers along the way, got it?” he asked before handing her the map.
“I know that,” she answered rolling her eyes. Then she grabbed the map
and skipped away. On the way, Little Blue saw some beautiful red flowers.
“Auntie would love these,” thought Little Blue picking a handful.
“Hello young one,” said a deep scary voice.
Little Blue jumped, “Who’s there?”
“It’s just me The Good Lion!”
“Oh hi,” answered Little Blue forgetting her dad’s warning.
“Where are you going?” asked The Good Lion.
“To my Auntie Girty’s house. She lives on the other side of the jungle,”
replied Little Blue.
“Bye!” responded The Good Lion sprinting to Auntie Girty’s house.
The lion saw Auntie Girty sitting in her armchair reading. The lion sneaked inside and locked Auntie Girty in the bathroom. The lion saw a spare dress, some makeup, and a book. He changed and used the book to cover his face. “Knock, knock!” called Little Blue.
“Who’s there?” asked lion.
“It’s me Little Blue. You forgot your crown and I came to give it back, replied Little Blue.
“Come in!” called the lion. Little Blue walked in.
“What strange hair you have Auntie!” noticed Little Blue.
“Just about to get a haircut, my dear,” replied the lion.
“What strange skin you have!” noticed Little Blue.
“Lotion can make a difference, my dear,” replied the lion.
“What large hands you have!” noticed Little Blue.
“All the better to steal that crown you have!” hollered the lion reaching for the crown. The Not so Good Good Lion snatched the crown and ran outside.
The firefighter heard the commotion. He ran to go see what was going on. Then he saw the lion with the crown. He tripped the lion, snatched the crown and ran towards Auntie Girty’s house.
He found Auntie Girty locked in the bathroom. The firefighter took out his ax and hollered, “Move out of the doorway!”
“I have moved,” squeaked Auntie Girty. He took out his ax and knocked down the door. Auntie Girt came out of the bathroom and said, “Thank you, so much! Would you like to stay for tea with the crown?”
“Of course!” answered the firefighter.
The lion was never seen again. They drank their tea with the crown as their centerpiece. I hope you liked it.
